Aldi have a good return policy. Try taking back a used Waeco for a refund to a camping store. The Aldi stuff is sometimes rebadged name brands, so parts

    Aldi 41 litre fridge

Yeah, I'd go the extra 100 bucks. Some Aldi stuff is pretty good, but I've returned more than one because it's been a piece of junk.

  • About the Club

The Suzuki 4 Wheel Drive Club of New South Wales Inc is a four wheel drive, camping and bush touring club. It promotes driver skill, bush craft, physical fitness, mechanical ability and all-round resourcefulness. Like any other outdoor form of recreation, we promote an appreciation of the environment, and the responsibility for looking after it.

The Club was formed in 1976, not long after the first Suzuki models were introduced into Australia.
There are independent Suzuki clubs throughout Australia with which our club maintains contact and links to their Club websites from our Members' area.

Our Members the lifeblood of our club. They come from many differing backgrounds and age groups. We have singles, couples and families. Some prefer an easy relaxing weekend away in the bush, others can't get enough of pushing the boundaries of 4wd'ing in either a social or competitive environment.

Whatever your focus, if you prefer a Suzuki as your 4wd of choice, we want you as a member.

Own or interested in an older Suzuki? Suzukis LJ series and 1 litre Sierra are now eligible for Historic registration in NSW. This is a low cost, club based conditional registration scheme for original condition vehicles (period modifications are permitted).

As such, The Suzuki 4wd club of NSW is now Australia's foremost authority on rebuilding and spare parts availability for these vehicles, along with an extremely active enthusiast base. Register and ask a question on our forum if you have any queries.

    Join Now!
and you will see a lot more - all the forums, the trip calendar, our photo history of the club and much more. You can join on-line as a provisional member and attend your first trip next weekend.

or join our forum for FREE and you will have instant access to our General Discussion and For Sale forums.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Club, as well as all members, are welcome to attend the monthly Club meetings. More About Meetings.

    Club Activities

The main activities of the Club are 4WD trips. These vary from one-day, to weekends and even longer. Most trips are within a 4 hour radius of Sydney, while some go further afield. Other activities include social outings, motor show displays, inter-club competitions, recovery and driver training, Zukanas, and other outdoor activities. At present, we have events planned nearly every weekend

    Community Service

Our Club participates actively in many community services, including cleanups, Christmas food hamper deliveries for The Smith Family, donations to charities, etc. A group from our club travelled to Victoria to assist with the bushfire recovery effort.
In the past the club has worked closely with the Gandangara Local Aboriginal Land Council in Sydney's southern suburbs.

    Club Newsletter

We currently send out a regular email newsletter to members with upcoming events.

    Club Shop

The Club Shop is operated at the monthly meetings and sells to club merchandise, e.g. club shirts, hats, beanies, etc. Discounts on parts and accessories are also available from our advertisers and some camping stores will also provide discounts when our club membership card is shown. Members can access the Club Shop On-line.

The Club is actively involved with access and the planning of responsible management of the bush.
